Captain Romain Chomel
He has been in the Aviation industry for 22 years
He started his piloting studies (concurrently with normal education) in France at the age of 14, obtained a restricted Basic Flying License at 15, and successfully completed his Private Pilot License (PPL) when he was 16.
After finishing his normal education, he decided to pursue his aviation vocation by enrolling with Oxford Aviation Training Academy (OAT Academy based in Oxford UK) in order to complete Air Transport Pilot License Theory (Frozen ATPL) and gain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR).

He completed his ATPL Theory in 2003 in Oxford and flight training in 2004 in Phoenix Arizona USA (with OAT and Sabena Airlines Training Centre), his CPL was then issue in 2005 by the UK CAA.

Throughout his time in Aviation Training, over 1,300 students have graduated, mainly for Malaysian Airlines (400+ cadets) and Air Asia (300+ cadets).
During these years, He has accumulated considerable experience, both in flight and in management.
Capt Romain is an Approved Examiner (AE) for SEP, MEP and IR, a Radiotelephony Examiner, a Pilot qualified to conduct Maintenance Check Flight.

Furthermore, in order to develop his general skills. He followed several courses on Human Factors, CRM, TEM and SMS.
