To ensure that the training programmes offered at AATA are of the highest standard, our Academy has appointed the following veteran technical advisors:

CAPTAIN PETER TWANG

Captain Peter Twang has a MSc Degree in Human Factors and Safety Assessment in Aeronautics, and was last rated as a Commander on the Airbus 380.

He was a director and Chief Training Officer of Aviation Training Academy (Singapore) Pte Ltd.

​

As a chief consultant in the joint venture between the Aviation Training Academy Singapore and ST Aerospace, he helped design, develop, and implement an MPL programme for the ST Aviation Training Academy based in Australia and Singapore.

CAPTAIN LAURENCE LYE

Captain Laurence Lye is an experienced Management Pilot, and was a qualified MPL instructor for MPL Phase 2 & 3 for Singapore Airlines & Scoot Airlines cadets.

​

He is also a simulator Instructor with the Singapore Flying College since 1 May 2018 for MPL Phase 2 & 3 training.

​

Presently he conducts training, checking and audits of MPL instructors in the Singapore Flying College.
